Set in the era of the 1920’s during the days of prohibition, this wedding couple kept the place rocking and hoping all night long with music and drinks. The Story
We met on Match.com and been together over 3 years now!
The Proposal
It rained for 2 weeks straight then the weather cleared up to a beautiful October day sunny, blue skies, and 55 degrees. We went to the pipeline (one of our first dates) and he proposed. I said I love you and yes but seriously over water?!?!?
The Dress
My dress is a classic silhouette with embroidered detailing and built in bodice. The bottom had a gorgeous train made of soft tool. We were paying for the wedding on our own so when I first went to try on dresses my sister went straight for the sale rack at David’s bridal. She found my dress originally marked at $1400 and it was on sale for $350!!!! Let’s just say I got lucky since I also absolutely loved it!
First Look
We both enjoyed the first look! Not only did we get some amazing pictures, but it also allowed us some time alone that day
Favorite Moment
Favorite moment was when the bridesmaids entered the ceremony dancing with blow up guitars and microphones to Bon Jovi living on a prayer. Only 3 people in the room knew about it and that was only so they could film it. The look on my husband’s face, the groomsmen’s and guests was priceless!!!!
Advice for future couples planning their wedding
Plan in advance so you can find the best deals and take the time to make some finishing touches. Also planning definitely helped lower the stress.
