Are you ready for a senior portrait experience designed with only you in mind?
The whirlwind of chaos, fun, and excitement from your school days is coming to an end. Senior year is where all your hard work meets your dreams for the future. It’s not just special—it’s monumental. And it’s gonna be gone in the blink of an eye.
I will never tell you what to wear or where we have to shoot. I’ll be there to guide you every step of the way, but ultimately, we’re creating something that’s a genuine reflection of you—how you see yourself now, and how you want to remember this incredible chapter. This is your experience, and it should FEEL like you.
Want to share your session with your bestie? If you book together for the same time and location, you’ll receive 20 extra bestie photos—completely free!
If a boyfriend, girlfriend, sibling or special someone wants to join for just a few shots, you can add 15+ extra photos for $100.
Get in touch with me and we can schedule a brief phone call where I can learn more about your vision and address any questions you might have.
Once you are booked, we’ll work together to plan your session, from location to wardrobe to any special ideas or props you’d like to include. I’m here to help you feel prepared and excited for the shoot!
We’ll meet, have fun, and take pictures of course .My goal is to make every session stress-free and packed with fun. I blend authenticity with purpose, so you won’t feel stiff or awkward. I’ll guide you through it all to make sure you feel totally at ease!
Within 2-3 weeks, your full online gallery will be delivered! Here, you will be able to download, share and print all of your fully edited, high resolution digital files. You will also have access to your very own mobile app where you can download your images directly to your phone.
The week leading up to your session, I’ll keep a close eye on the weather to ensure everything looks good. If it appears that bad weather might affect your scheduled date, I’ll reach out a few days in advance to discuss our options. We’ll determine the best time to make a final decision—typically 24-48 hours beforehand, with the most accurate call being the morning of the session or as close to start time as you’re comfortable with. If rescheduling is necessary, I set aside a limited number of “rain dates” each month to accommodate weather-related changes.
Yes! All of the photos in your final gallery will be color corrected, with small blemishes removed, teeth whitened and moderate skin smoothing. Additional editing (such as braces removal and intensive skin retouching like body slimming) can be added for a per file rate. If you prefer to be all natural without any touch ups, that is totally fine too!
I typically shoot most sessions starting about 2-3 hours before sunset. I offer sunrise sessions as well but as a mom myself, I know it can be hard to get your teenager out of bed early in the morning. I will only shoot one session in the afternoon and one in the morning, so your session is exclusive to that time of day. You will be my only client so you get my full attention during your session.
Seniors tend to love their sessions during the fall when they are still hanging on to some summer tan but cool enough to not sweat in our Richmond, VA humidity. There are only a few weeks when the foliage is at its peak of fall colors. If you want the fall foliage as your backdrop, I highly recommend booking as far in advance as possible. My clients generally start booking before summer so you have first dibs on your favorite date.
Yes, the online gallery that delivers your digital files has the option to purchase additional products such as prints and canvases but there is no obligation to order through me. Since the digital files are included in the session price, you are welcome to order anywhere you like. However, I do recommend printing with me if you want the most accurate versions of your photographs printed. I can ensure the quality of my print labs but cannot ensure others.
I don’t have a studio, as I specialize in casual portraits. However, if you’re looking for drape or tux portraits, I’d be happy to share some recommendations. Often, the easiest option for yearbook photos is to have them taken through the school when available.
Absolutely! I’d love for you to do this!
Heck ya! Please let me know ahead of time to ensure that we are at a dog friendly location.
The majority of my sessions are scheduled on weekdays in the evenings. Because I’m also a wedding photographer, my weekends during the spring and fall are typically booked with weddings. However, feel free to inquire as my schedule can vary. Occasionally, I have some Sundays available.
Cash, checks, and credit cards are accepted.
