1. Say Hey
After you fill out my simple contact form I’ll respond within 48 hours so we can set up a zoom call (or coffee date!) to get to know each other. If it’s a good fit, a retainer fee and signed contract secures your spot on my calendar. Can’t wait to work with you!
2. Planning & Prep
Wedding planning shouldn’t feel like you’re studying for a test. I eliminate all the guesswork with clear communication, vendor recs that I’ve developed over my years in this industry, and anything else you need. Who’s got you covered?

3. ENGAGEMENT SESH
Even if your chosen package doesn’t include an engagement session, I highly recommend adding one on. These are super chill sessions that are more like hanging out together than stiff poses. They’re great for shaking out any of those pre-wedding-photo jitters. Plus, you can bring your fur baby!
4. Custom Timelines
What are your wedding photo must haves? Let’s collaborate to build a photo timeline that captures all that plus the photos that’ll make Mom happy (you know the ones). I’ll handle all the day-of logistics, run interference with any difficult family dynamics, and use my Family Wrangling voice if I need to so we get everything you want and then get you back to the party.
5. Wedding! Day!
You’re pumped. I’m pumped. We’re all pumped! I’ll guide you through the entire day so you never ever have to stress about what comes next. We’ll capture a mix of artistic portraits, little details, and lots of candids. And you better believe I’ll be out on the dance floor getting those perfect blackmail photos of your bestie.
6. RELIVE IT ALL
About 4 weeks after your wedding, you’ll receive delivery of your fully edited images in a secure, online gallery. I can’t wait for you to relive your awesome day through your images. Pop some bubbly and grab the tissues — both are needed.
7. HEIRLOOM MEMORIES
Your photos shouldn’t be stuck on your laptop. I adore helping couples create custom wedding albums full of luxe details. These albums are meant to be loved, looked at often, and passed down. (And psst … if you hold off on an album for now, don’t forget that one-year anniversary gifts are paper.

FAQ
Do you travel?
My bags are packed, who’s bringing the snacks? Although I call Richmond, VA home, I’ll hop on a plane, train, or even a camel to capture your engagement, elopement, or wedding anywhere in the world. Planning a destination event? Shoot me an inquiry, and let’s make some magic (and maybe some questionable travel decisions) together!
How do we lock in a booking?
If you decide that you’d like to move forward with my photography services, I require a non-refundable retainer fee and a contract signature to fully reserve your event date. I work on a first come, first serve basis, and unfortunately I can’t hold dates until the booking is confirmed. By doing so, this means we will not book any other events on this date and are solely reserved just for you.
We are not sure how much photography coverage we need?
That’s totally okay! I understand that you might be in the early stages of your wedding journey, still figuring out what your day will look like. That means your coverage needs might change as your plans come together. Weddings can be expensive, and I don’t want to sell you more than you need. We can definitely add on extra hours or services as your plans evolve.
Can I see a full event from start to finish?
You bet! When we meet in person I will bring albums of entire events. If you are not local to the Richmond, VA area, I can send you online galleries to view.
Can I book just an engagement session without a full wedding package?
Absolutely! You’re more than welcome to book an engagement session on its own—no wedding package required. Some couples like to do a “test run” with a session before deciding on a wedding photographer, while others are planning a destination wedding and want beautiful photos for their save-the-dates. Whatever the reason, I’d love to help! Reach out for more details and let’s start planning your perfect session.
How many photos will we receive?
Great question! The answer: It depends! The number of images in your final gallery varies based on your day’s timeline, the number of guests, and how much time is spent traveling between locations (whether on foot or by car). While I don’t have a set minimum, you can typically expect to receive around 80-100 edited photos per hour of coverage.
Do your packages include a 2nd shooter?
Absolutely! I offer the option of a second photographer because sometimes one pair of eyes just isn’t enough to catch all the magic. That said, I’ve also rocked plenty of weddings solo and can share some clever tricks to make the most of a one-photographer setup if you’re keeping an eye on the budget.
What happens if we need to reschedule?
While weddings are magical, no celebration is entirely immune to unexpected events like accidents, weather emergencies, or government actions. If your wedding is canceled due to force majeure, we can discuss the transferring of your retainer to a new date, subject to availability. A signed contract amendment will be required to confirm the rescheduled date, and all payments made up to that point will carry over. My contract includes a clear section on rescheduling and postponements, so everything is transparent from the start.
What do you mean by “touching up” the photos?
All final images will be edited for color, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful and consistent with style. As for retouching, I’m happy to zap away any temporary party crashers like acne, bruises, or scratches. But when it comes to altering your natural appearance, I keep it real—no extreme makeovers here! That said, if you need a little extra Photoshop magic (like body slimming or mysteriously erasing your cousin’s ex-girlfriend from
the family portrait), I do offer that for an additional fee.
Can I order professional prints and products through you?
Yes, the online gallery that delivers your digital files has the option to purchase additional products such as prints and canvases but there is no obligation to order through me. Since the digital files are included in the session price you are welcome to order anywhere you like.
Do you have insurance?
I hold a liability insurance policy. A Certificate of Insurance (COI) can be provided upon request.
When do we get to see our final images?
A portrait session is typically a 2-3 week turnround depending on peak season. Wedding clients
can expect the full edited gallery to be delivered to your within 6 weeks from your wedding date.
Do you offer videography? Do you have any other vendors you love?
I specialize solely in photography, allowing me to focus on being a true master of my craft. I have a list of fabulous, preferred vendor friends, including the best professionals I’ve worked with—from wedding planners to videographers—that I’m happy to share.
Will you be the photographer at our wedding?
Yes, I am always the primary photographer. If there is a second photographer involved, then that
pricing and terminology will be reflected in the contract.
Can you start the wedding photography earlier in the day, take a break, and then come back later at night?
If only time worked like a Netflix pause button! Once we hit play on the photography hours, they roll on consecutively, no sneaky intermissions. I’ll be there capturing all the magical moments in one continuous swoop.
