How Far Will You Travel?
I have traveled internationally for destination weddings as well as coast to coast in the US. Some additional fees may be required if it’s outside of Central Virginia, however these are minimal just to cover my expenses. I’m always excited for a new adventure so please contact me for further information.
Do You Have Liability Insurance?
Yes. In fact, many venues require the photographer to have liability insurance, so I’d suggest that whomever you decide to book carries it.
Can I See a Full Event From Start to Finish?
Yes, when we meet in person I will bring albums of entire events.
Will You Be the Photographer That Shoots Our Wedding?
Yes, I am always the primary photographer. If there is a second photographer involved, then that pricing and terminology will be reflected in the contract.
I Don’t See Any Print or Album Pricing. Do You Offer That Service?
With your delivered images, I will include suggested instructions on where to get prints and making products. However you can always purchase an album or products from me for an additional charge.
Are Other People Allowed To Take Pictures of Our Wedding?
This day in age everyone has a cell phone or camera handy. I am very flexible with your guests snapping photos and I’ve even been known to take their cell phone so they can be in the photo as well! However, I cannot guarantee an eager guest potentially blocking my view at a key moment but I do my best to work around it. I do ask that no other paid photographer works the event without arranging it through me first.
What Do You Mean By “Touching Up” The Photos?
I will do light touch ups to include blemish removal, skin color corrections, some light wrinkle removal, brightening of teeth, etc.
Why Should We Do An Engagement Session?
Many people use them for “SAVE-THE-DATE” cards but one of the most important reasons is that it gives you a chance to get comfortable with the photographer before the wedding, which will result in better photos for that day.
Do You Back Up Your Images? How Can We Ensure That Our Images Won’t Get Lost?
Yes. I go to great lengths to take care of my equipment, use multiple memory cards and waterproof storage systems while shooting an event. Immediately after shooting, I download the files right away. Then I sync the files with a backup system that is stored off site.
Can I Upload My Wedding Photos to Social Media Platforms Once I Get The Files?
Yes! You may use your photos for personal use. A shout out is always appreciate but not required!
Can I Have Or See All Of The Unedited Photos You Took At Our Wedding?
As a policy, I don’t release any unprocessed photos. Rest assured that I will provide you the best ones and discard the ones that are not fit for printing.
Do You Sometimes Book Yourself for More Than One Wedding In A Day?
As a policy, we prefer to focus on just one wedding per day.
What Is Your Policy On Taking Breaks? If You Have A Meal Break, Do You Require That We Provide Your Meal?
I do not require a meal break. I typically take a couple of very short breaks during client moments for a water break, restroom break, etc.
Do You Have Back-Up Equipment That You Bring With You?
Yes! I have the best equipment in the industry and I always have back up cameras, memory cards, and different lenses for close-ups, wide angle, zoom etc with me.

This is for making prints, canvases, etc. Also include in a separate folder will be a low resolution set of files for social media sharing.
